Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Transactions on Intelligent Computing and Emerging Technologies (TICET) is deeply committed to ethical scholarship. The journal follows internationally recognized publishing standards, including those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure that their manuscripts:
- Are original and not under review elsewhere
- Include proper citation and give credit to previous work
- Accurately report research methods, analyses, and results
- Disclose relevant conflicts of interest or funding sources

Authors must avoid plagiarism, falsification, fabrication, or redundant publication. Violations may result in rejection or retraction.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
- Evaluate submissions fairly and solely on academic merit
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts
- Avoid conflicts of interest in editorial decisions
- Ensure a fair, anonymous, and timely review process
- Address suspected misconduct responsibly and promptly
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive, and confidential reviews
- Declare conflicts of interest before accepting assignments
- Avoid using unpublished material for personal benefit
- Submit timely feedback to support editorial decisions
4. Plagiarism & Misconduct
TICET considers plagiarism, data manipulation, duplicate submission, and unethical authorship as serious violations. The journal employs plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality.
Consequences may include:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript
- Retraction of previously published articles
- Notification to affiliated institutions or funding agencies
5. Corrections & Retractions
- Corrections: Errors affecting scientific quality are corrected promptly with a public notice.
- Retractions: Serious ethical or scientific issues lead to article retraction with clear reasoning.
6. Conflicts of Interest
All stakeholders — authors, editors, and reviewers — must disclose any professional, financial, or personal conflicts that could influence manuscript evaluation or interpretation.
7. Ethical Oversight
TICET upholds international ethical norms and continually monitors compliance. The Editorial Board may take corrective measures whenever necessary to preserve the integrity and trustworthiness of the scholarly record.
TICET remains dedicated to ethical, transparent, and responsible publishing practices, ensuring that scientific knowledge is shared with integrity and academic rigor.
